What We Do
Care is at the heart of our work and every year, thousands of dogs, cats and small animals attend our Inchicore clinic and mobile clinics for treatment. In addition to our small animal work, we operate a horse ambulance service that attends all Irish racecourses and main events, working closely with veterinary surgeons to assist injured horses.
Head Clinic - Inchicore
Our clinics provide veterinary treatment to sick and injured pets when their owners can’t afford private veterinary fees.
Mobile Clinic
Our mobile veterinary clinics are on the road each week-day evening providing essential veterinary care for thousands of pets every year.

Education
One of the ways we help animals is by educating pet owners attending our clinics and pet owners of the future through free talks for schools and youth groups.
Our vision is that every pet will one day enjoy a healthy life in a happy home. One of the ways in which we do this is through our work at the Inchicore and Mobile Clinics and through our visits to schools and youth groups on request. The Irish Blue Cross educates about pet welfare, staying safe around dogs and responsible pet ownership from an early age to encourage behaviour change across a generation. In this way we can help improve the lives of both future pets and their owners, and stamp out cases of animal cruelty and neglect in the process.

Who Is Eligible?
Our low-cost veterinary services are available to pets whose owners are on certain means-tested payment and live within a 40km catchment area.
