Eligibility Criteria

Are you within our catchment area?

Our charitable veterinary services are available to pets whose owners receive certain means-tested payments, live within 40 km of our Inchicore clinic, and meet the eligibility requirements of our charitable services. These include our policies on neutering, breeding and a maximum of two pets.
 
If you are in receipt of the following, you may be eligible to receive out care;

– Job Seeker’s Allowance or Benefit                – Guardian’s Payment (Non-Contributory)

– Supplementary Welfare Allowance              – Disability Allowance

– Blind Pension                                                              – Deserted Wife’s Allowance

– One-Parent Family Allowance                         – Farm Assistance

– Guardian’s Payment (Non-Contributory)  – Qualified Adult Allowance

– Pre-Retirement Allowance                                – Non-Contributory State Pension

– Carer’s Allowance                                                   – Medical Card

– Widow’s, Widower’s or Surviving Civil Partner’s (Non-Contributory) Pension

We currently have a waiting list for our charitable services, as our resources are currently stretched to the very limit. We are working as hard as we can to treat as many pets as possible.
 

In the interest of your pets’ health and welfare, we can only accept patients within a 40km of our Inchicore clinic. 

Waiting List for The Charity’s Low-Cost Veterinary Services

Due to the demand for our means tested, low-cost veterinary services, there is a waiting list to become a client of The Irish Blue Cross.
